Manitoba Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards - Finalists Announced!

Winnipeg, March 29, 2012 - The Women Business Owners of Manitoba (WBOM) is proud to host their annual gala event that puts the spotlight on women entrepreneurs in Manitoba. The dinner, to be MC'd by Gord Leclerc and Leah Hextahl from CTV, will take place at the Winnipeg Convention Centre on, Thursday, May 17th, and is proudly sponsored by Premier Sponsor TD Bank. The finalists' names are public (see below), however, the winners are not revealed until the evening itself.
This year's 30 finalists come from across the province and represent businesses as diverse as a unique jewelery designer, to a successful esthetic business, from a large travel agency to a well know yoga center. Every single one of these finalists has an amazing business well deserving of their finalist standing.
"Manitoba has amazing women entrepreneurs whose stories are inspiring," said Lucy Camara, President of WBOM and owner of Olatech Business Hosting Corporation. "Anyone in business knows the challenges of being a successful entrepreneur. There are days when the bills exceed receivables, when challenges exceed the triumphs - but when you believe in your business, in the vision you're realizing, your passion fuels your strength to carry on.
